Grover “Pete” Peters brings decades of leadership, legal experience, and strategic decision-making to his role as Senior Family Law Attorney at Johnson Law Firm.
Pete’s approach to family law is grounded in the understanding that the issues his clients face are deeply personal. Divorce, parenting disputes, custody matters, and other family law conflicts can affect nearly every part of a person’s life — their children, finances, home, and future. Pete works to help clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and move forward with a clear strategy.
Before practicing law, Pete served as an officer in the United States Army Medical Service Corps and later held senior executive positions, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Information Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, with healthcare organizations across the country. Those experiences shaped the disciplined, practical, and solutions-focused approach he brings to his legal practice today.
As a senior attorney at Johnson Law Firm, Pete draws on his extensive professional background to evaluate complex situations, anticipate challenges, and help clients navigate high-conflict and high-stakes family law matters. He believes effective representation requires more than simply knowing the law — it requires listening to the client, understanding what matters most to their family, and developing a strategy designed around their goals and their future.
Pete is licensed to practice law in Washington, Oregon, Texas, and New Mexico.
Outside of the office, Pete is an FAA-licensed flight instructor for both airplanes and helicopters and enjoys flying and instructing. He also co-founded K9s Healing Hearts, LLC, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children with special needs receive comfort and service dogs.
At Johnson Law Firm, Pete is proud to help individuals and families navigate difficult transitions and take the next steps toward their fresh start.
